Neck Pain & Service

SIGNS & SYMPTOMS OF NECK PAIN

Neck pain is a common condition we see at Tangelo. We live in a world where our phones and computers are at the center of our universe. This focus on our screens can lead to rounded shoulders and forward head position, manifesting into neck pain. Thankfully, neck pain is not a life sentence, and we have successfully helped countless clients with posture-related pain. Likewise, we have also successfully treated clients that experience whiplash, pinched nerve, and headache symptoms.

UNDERLYING ISSUES THAT CAUSE NECK PAIN

Neck pain can be caused by many factors, including poor posture, car accidents, rapid movements, head impact, and overuse.

SPECIFIC CONDITIONS ASSOCIATED WITH NECK PAIN

  • Headaches
  • Sprains / Strains
  • Cervical neuropathy
  • Thoracic outlet syndrome
  • Upper crossed syndrome
  • General neck pain

SERVICE FOR NECK PAIN

At Tangelo, we don’t just look at the pain site – we work with you to find the pain source. We also look for passive and active movement dysfunction in your mid-back, shoulders, posture, and breathing patterns to see what contributed to the condition. We’ll take you through an extensive assessment to look at your body mechanics and to make sure that once you get out of pain, you stay out of pain. From your assessment, we’ll create a customized plan for you that involves a blend of advanced, manual therapy and progressive, functional rehabilitation.

Testimonials

What some of our clients have to say

I had accepted chronic pain, frequent injuries, and limited mobility as a given for my life, but now I have such hope for my future. I walked into Kinetic hoping they could help my neck and reduce my joint pain, and I've come out a different person.

I can't recommend Tangelo strongly enough. It doesn't matter how big or small your issue is- if you're willing to put in the work, the Tangelo team really can help you change your story.

Suzie D.

I started going to see Tangelo after a head injury that affected my neck and gave me post-concussion syndrome. I'm so happy I came here. The combination of adjustments, physical therapy and some massages have helped me get back to normal, if not stronger.

The entire team here is phenomenal. My doctor quickly got to the root of my problems and the physical therapy team has coached me on strengthening my neck and back. They have given me the tools to keep my muscles and joints healthy with my physically demanding job.

The cherry on top of the cake is the warm and welcoming atmosphere. I always know I'll be taken care of when I'm at Kinetic in Fremont.

Daniella A.

Lower back pain and low back issues can occur suddenly, or can develop slowly over time. Chronic pain in the low back can result from disc injuries such as herniations or ruptures, joint problems, and irritated or inflamed nerves.

Shoulder Pain

Shoulder conditions we treat include acute injuries such as rotator cuff tears and sprains, as well as chronic pain resulting from impingements, tendonitis and arthritis.

Knee Pain

Knee pain can result from acute injuries, muscle imbalance, and repetitive-use injuries. Common conditions include Patellofemoral Pain Syndrome, and IT band syndrome. Knee pain can be a symptom of related issues in the hips and ankles.

Foot & Ankle Pain

Conditions in the lower leg, foot and ankle include acute injuries such as sprains and strains, as well as chronic conditions such as plantar fasciitis and shin splints.

Elbow Pain

Elbow pain can be related to a number of conditions. Elbow tendonitis, or Tennis Elbow, is a common condition caused by inflammation and injury to the tendons. Overuse injuries and repetitive hand, wrist, or arm movements often cause elbow pain.

Tangelo treats conditions involving the body’s muscular and skeletal systems. Our hybrid approach was created to treat muscle, soft tissue, bone and joint conditions.

We provide service for muscle sprains and strains, repetitive-stress injuries, athletic injuries, acute injuries and chronic conditions.
