Shoulder pain is a common condition we see at Tangelo. The shoulder is the most mobile joint in the body and is designed to substitute stability for mobility. Therefore, it’s crucial that proper shoulder position and strength is maintained in all ranges of motion. Without it, pain can develop in and around the joint that can lead to weakness, limited use, and reinjury.

At Tangelo, we don’t just focus on the obvious symptom. We also look for passive and active movement breakdowns and weakness in your mid-back, arms, and core to see what contributed to the condition. We’ll take you through an extensive assessment to look at your body mechanics and to make sure that once you get out of pain, you stay out of pain. From your assessment, we’ll create a customized plan for you that involves a blend of advanced, manual therapy and progressive, functional rehabilitation.

Other common conditions
Lower back pain and low back issues can occur suddenly, or can develop slowly over time. Chronic pain in the low back can result from disc injuries such as herniations or ruptures, joint problems, and irritated or inflamed nerves.

The muscle and ligaments of the neck connect the head, shoulders and back. Neck pain can result from poor posture, muscle imbalance, and injury. Often, neck pain is related to other interconnected muscle groups.
Elbow pain can be related to a number of conditions. Elbow tendonitis, or Tennis Elbow, is a common condition caused by inflammation and injury to the tendons. Overuse injuries and repetitive hand, wrist, or arm movements often cause elbow pain.
