Functional Range Conditioning
Functional Range Conditioning (FRC) is a system developed to improve active range of motion, protect joints, and rehabilitate lost ranges due to injury or disuse. This methodology enhances the usable range of motion while reinforcing joints with the tissues and neurological system that controls them.
Functional Range Conditioning is used to treat recent injuries or recurring problems and is effective for rehabilitation and injury prevention. FRC improves tissue resiliency without entering painful ranges of motion.
Movements patterns incorporating strength, flexibility and agility, aimed at returning athletes to highly complex movement patterns.
Soft-tissue therapy involving precisely-applied tension and specific movements. This facilitates the smooth movement of tissue, breaks up scar tissue, and restores function.
Non-invasive manual manipulation and adjustments of joints realign the spinal column, directly influencing and improving nervous system, musculoskeletal, and organ function.
Elastic therapeutic tape goes by many names. It is also called kinesiology tape, Kinesio tape, K-tape, or KT. The elastic tape is used with the intent of treating pain and disability resulting from athletic injuries and other physical disorders.
Dry Cupping Therapy
Dry Cupping Therapy has recently grown in popularity but is actually an ancient practice. Cupping involves using small cups to create areas of low air pressure next to the skin. This low pressure creates a mild suction effect and is used to increase blood flow and stimulate the body’s localized inflammatory response to facilitate healing. It is also a type of deep-tissue massage.
Acupuncture is a form of alternative medicine used most commonly for pain relief and to stimulate and support the body’s healing response. Originating in ancient Chinese medicine, acupuncture has been embraced across the globe. Acupuncture engages both the musculoskeletal system and the meridian system. Its purpose is to rebalance local tissue as well as address systemic issues to promote healing and prevent further injury.
The Graston Technique is an innovative, patented form of instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization. Graston Technique is used to effectively break down scar tissue and restrictions or adhesions in the muscle fascia. The technique utilizes instruments designed to detect and effectively treat areas with soft tissue fibrosis or chronic inflammation.
Massage therapy is systematic manual manipulation of the body’s soft body tissues (muscle, connective tissue, tendons, and ligaments). There are numerous massage therapy modalities. Most include application of fixed or movable pressure, holding pressure, and facilitating the movement of muscle and connective tissue.
