Dr. Olivia Steinmetz is a sports chiropractor with a passion for whole person health care. She made the move from Minnesota to Oregon to complete her Doctor of Chiropractic, Masters of Science in Sports Medicine, and Bachelors of Science in Biology degrees. Prior to her time in Portland, she studied Exercise Science, Psychology, and Global Studies with the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN, and globally with Semester at Sea.
With a particular interest in exercise and rehabilitation, Dr. Olivia has a special passion for working with athletes. As an avid weightlifter, hiker, and climber, she understands the importance of feeling confident in your body and its abilities as well as the interconnectedness of a healthy body and mind. Her integrated approach includes manual therapy, patient education, and the use of stability and strength exercises alongside individualized treatment and exercise plans. She has also completed post graduate education in treating the pregnant population, and is dedicated to supporting her patients before and after birth.
Outside of the clinic, you will find Dr. Olivia hiking and camping with friends or trying to find the next best restaurant in Portland. She is an avid traveler, and has a goal of visiting every state, each continent, and 30 countries before she turns 30!
