Dr. Bart Hand is a sports chiropractor originally from Springfield, Missouri. After earning his Bachelor’s degree at Northwest Missouri State University, he attended Logan University where he earned his Doctor of Chiropractic Degree and his Master’s in Sports Science and Rehabilitation. While at Logan University, Dr. Hand was elected President of Logan Sports Council where he had the opportunity to work with Team USA Junior Olympic track athletes, along with athletes from the local high schools. These experiences helped drive the passion that he has today for treating athletes of all ages and performance levels.
Dr. Hand took it upon himself to learn a variety of chiropractic and soft tissue techniques in order to give his patient’s the most optimal care. He believes strongly in the treatment of soft tissue injuries, and therefore is full spine ART (Active Release Technique) certified as well as Level 1 Graston Technique certified. Along with soft tissue treatments and chiropractic adjustments, Dr. Hand truly considers patient education a vital part of the collaborative care to get a patient better and prevent future injuries from occurring. Whether you are an elite athlete trying to improve a personal record or just an everyday mother and father wanting to stay healthy while playing with their kids, Dr. Hand strives to educate patients on proper biomechanics in order to achieve their goals.
After growing up in the Midwest all of his life, Dr. Hand is excited to explore everything the Pacific Northwest has to offer, including the abundance of seafood restaurants. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time hiking, camping, fishing, playing sports and pretty much anything that involves being active outdoors!
