Von grew up in the PNW and spent her youth as a competitive swimmer. After achieving a visual communications degree in college, she became a swim coach and Red Cross lifeguard instructor, which eventually led to her career as a personal trainer, certified through NASM. She has coached water aerobics, stroke clinics and sports-specific strength and conditioning for all ages. She especially enjoys teaching adults how to swim! After experiencing her own set of injuries in the gym, she discovered her passion for corrective exercise and is dedicated to helping others move healthily to achieve their performance goals.
On the weekends, she stays busy coaching functional strength training in the Seattle area. She also enjoys training in powerlifting, hiking, traveling, reading, playing the piano and spending time with her senior cat at home!
